- Never making on the spot decision and reflecting on it always helps makes better decisions. Biases are the biggest enemy in making a sound judgement.

- In its simplest explanation, judgment bias describes optimistic and pessimistic decisions made under ambiguity. It is a bias in the judgment of ambiguous information, influenced by emotional state. Objective judgement is the opposite, you take yourself out completely from an equation and observe it as an independent party.

- Most of us tend to either under- or over-estimate our strengths and weaknesses. Start by making a list of our strengths and weaknesses. Listing it out is first step to embracing. Is one list longer than the other? Why? Are you being honest and letting yourself own it all, strengths and weaknesses alike? Do you need to practice seeing your strengths? Or your weaknesses? Approach this list like you’re an investigator—just trying to gather all the facts and lay them out for a good look.
