- Being mindful means being concentrated and focused. If you decision-making is impaired, or thinking not so clear, it's a sign you're "mind full."
- Focus on the task you're doing one at a time with 100% concentration. Only move on when you have completed the task.
- I have 20 years' experience in mindfulness studying various wellness approaches, spirituality and meditation.
- I like to draw pictures and also get the client to draw pictures/ share personal experiences from his/her life.
- 1. Noise (outside noise) 2. Distracting emotions 3. Distracting thoughts 4. Fatigue 5. Hunger or thirst
- Being present in this moment is our only true power for taking action. We can only make a change by being mindful. This is where our peak performance lies.
- 1. Too many thoughts. Do more yoga and exercise to clear my mind. 2. Social media. Spend less time on social media and create limits on my social media time. 3. Having many interests. Prioritise the most important interests based on my value system and goals.
- I have a lot of experience in teaching mindfulness via present-moment awareness, Buddhist meditation and Taoist qigong practices. Creatively I like to teach qigong as a moving meditation and practising drawing/making artwork as a skill anyone can learn.
