Personal life:- Communication with family members to let them know that I am burdened with work and need help. Talk with my partner to show I feel ignored. Time does not come back

Not managing time as a manager means huge losses for the company. Resources cannot be managed effectively, the workload cannot be distributed and delegated properly, and hence deadlines cannot be met. Causing huge monetary loss for the company. Also, teammates lose confidence in the capability of the manager. The upper management also loses confidence.

Time has to be structured to be more productive. And structuring requires a lot of self-discipline. One realm should not interfere with the other. Procrastination is big productivity killer and literally murders the benefits of time management. One should be self-motivated and self-disciplined to keep away procrastination.

I always make to-do lists one day before. I dedicate zones throughout the day for different categories of work and do let each work interfere with the other. I give some grace time prior to a few activities to ensure there's no mixing up. I make it a point to never procrastinate. I make priority lists that are independent of the to-do list. I always reflect at the end of the day if everything I wanted to do has been done or not and try to improve for the next day.

Failure for me means another chance to get it better. To start with a different perspective, a different approach. To learn something new with every different try. And when we learn something new, we see more opportunities, more exposure.

If I were Tim, I would explain to the seniors that I have given great productivity so far. In this particular scenario, the concerned trainee gave a tough time cooperating. I would ask the seniors to check previous feedbacks and will commit the quality of further sessions without such a scenario being repeated. Also, I would ensure that I will work on my not-so-patient behaviour. I will also ascertain that I will be taking some guidance as to how to deal with such difficult cases henceforth.

Learn from the mistakes and minimize risk. Always have a plan B. Take the blame, if you are the leader. Take another approach. Money should be secondary, understanding should be primary.
