GLEAC is working hard to revitalize the partnerships needed to achieve the UN Global Goals. For this, we have partnered with Dubai Expo 2020, Prada, ONGC, PWC, SHRM amongst others to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into our core business.
Climate- related technologies
The market for climate-related technology has been thriving; in the first 6 months of 2021, $14.2 billion was invested into climate tech worldwide - this is 88% of the total investments made in 2020. Climate tech solutions come in many forms, including Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
GLEAC invests in these technologies and harnesses their capabilities, in the form of enhanced product flow and traceability. As a result, we have been able to increase waste management control and raise accountability.
Fair Wages and Accomodation
We pay our employees fair wages, or perhaps even generous compared to comparable jobs or similar positions throughout the industry.
We give our employees the opportunity to shift to UAE for work by providing them with free accommodation. If not to move to UAE full-time, they also have the opportunity to come and stay in our company-provided accommodation for any duration that suits them.
Training and Education
GLEAC also provides employee training and education programs. For example, we provide flexible hours for employees pursuing further education. We also sponsor paid training programs for employees who want to up-skill.
Financial and accounting transparency
We use accurate and transparent accounting methods and our stockholders are allowed to vote on important issues.
GLEAC avoids conflict of interest in its choice of board members. We don't use political contributions to obtain unduly favourable treatment and, of course, we don't engage in illegal practices.
