Tricky Workplace Situation Handled
- Biases make an environment unsafe for people and come in the way of people not speaking up or putting their best ideas forward. This makes complex problems more difficult and slower to solve
- Gender bias (I am more positively disposed to women in general and women of color in specific)
- I can tend to network more with women, hire more women and also build a business with women leaders that I find inspiring
- I would bring in the 3C framework of Inclusive leadership and let people understand bias from the lense of their own identity. My upbringing in a patriarchal system made me pre-disposed to feminism - Helping people understand their own identities and attributions and how this comes in the way of true inclusion is something I am an expert in.
