- I like Blake's approach as it is important to focus on what, when and how in terms of feedback and the balance approach is necessary
- I would give them specific example of when they were late recently and try to understand why they were late. Is this a one time event or a pattern and then counsel the about how it impact the flow of meeting and how meetings get delayed and it is considered unprofessional by others
- I would given them specific examples how the questions they asked could be asked later and it was not necessary to disrupt the flow of thoughts. I would try to understand there point of view as well, maybe they don't have any idea about whats being discussed.
- I would try to understand the project plan and if the employee has the required skills to take on that job. I will discuss their concerns and address the issue of non performance and delays in a collaborative manner.
