Progress methodically by identifying all the signs and symptoms (objective and subjective), Focus on the objective symptoms, Contextualize the subjective signs to withdraw objective conclusions, create a fully clear differential diagnoses before establishing the final diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis.
- One of the best way to confirm a diagnosis is to share the case with your team and affiliates and ask their perspective. A sense-check from peers is mandatory and more importantly do not hesitate to revisit your decision and create validation check points during the course of treatment.
