Tricky Workplace Situation Handled
- Objective - based on facts, neutral view by a third party. Subjective - analysis of the facts and can be biased.
- Quickly shows if the person is blaming others or takes own responsibility
- You can find out about a person's character and any outliers. Difficult to hide in such settings.
- Reveals how the candidate dealt with the issues and can reveal any toxic sides. Also whether the candidate owns the responsibility or is blaming others.
- Reveals whether the person consider anything as team efforts and consider others, or shows a non-wanted behaviour
- Get others' opinions - of colleagues or third parties even. Reverse your thinking and think the opposite.
- I take actual real cases I have experienced and use for discussions, to see what scenarios and answers that arise. Then I can reveal what happened and compare with the alternatives that the discussion has resulted in.

- Well, for me it is important to listen to a person and create an understanding of the person. From this I tend to ask some questions in a way to guide and this develops over time to a more clear and detailed path and dialogue with the actual person.
