- The project or the goal would fail. Collaboration requires open and honest communication between both parties . If we don't like each other, we are less likely to listen or taken feedback from each other. In reality, the project will end up being a failure since we were not able to work well together
- Working with someone who I don't like adds up an extra dimension during work. We will be less likely to give and get feedback, less likely to do favors, and also to share any recognition for the work. All these things factor in when working with someone who I don't clique with

If we are unable to find them, its best to rely on trusted sources to show you what you can't see. Once you are able to get that out of the way, it becomes a little easier to be the mature one in the relationship and take the first step towards mending the way

In addition to that, we could also create cross function teams or tribes that work towards a common business output with smaller team goals that are different but contribute towards the main aim.

If different teams communicate differently to the same customer, the customer's trust will reduce as they will understand that the company as poor collaboration amongst departments. Silo mentality reduces efficiency and contributes to the failing of the company.
