Tricky Workplace Situation Handled

- Find 5 people you know and ask them for feedback - ask what I am good at, what do i need to do better, etc Then listen, explore, reflect on it.
- I would have gone back and asked questions to gain more clarity.
- Learning how to give feedback with a structure like the STAR method is useful to help interpret feedback received. I would suggest practising giving feedback on the situation, task, action, result and applying it to feedback received also. This helps be objective and listen and not take the feedback personally. Feedback is about you in relation to a task or event and does not define you as a person.

- Let them think through and voice various things that can go wrong, possible solutions, and possible likelihood. Gives perspective on what to spend energy on.

- We can learn so much from those who have struggled and risen above. Inspirational stories are all around us and we can show this as a mentor and help increase one's self awareness.
- Sitting for long hours can result in lower back pain, pain and stiffness of the neck and shoulders, and even a headache due to eye strain or lack of water.
- - Sitting continuously leads to body aches and stiffness. - Sitting without healthy breaks can lead to mental fatigue. - Work output and productivity dips if you aren't getting breaks to refresh your mind. - Eating habits and hence, overall health can deteriorate leading to lifestyle diseases.
- Before teaching something new, I would urge the them to observe their own patterns and share their observations and inferences. They must come to be aware of where they need to improve or what would be good to work on rather than be told to do something because it generally benefits a person. Once they see the personal connection, I would share stories little changes I made and the impact I saw in my life.
